Garden
The priority for our no-till garden beds is the soil. We have been experimenting with different natural soil amendments such as duckweed, comfrey tea, JMS, and compost, to build the health of the soil and get the best health for the plant. In the garden, we use both interplanting and companion planting with flowers that are pollinator magnets. This helps increase our yield. The hope is to expand the garden to grow a variety of crops that you wouldn't get at your local supermarket and that showcase the diversity of our personal backgrounds.
Right now we are at Milltown Market in Canton and Haywood Historic Market in Waynesville on select dates.
